The first original title from Demiurge Studios, Shoot Many Robots is an
aptly named platform shooter in which up to four gamers use jetpacks and
heavy munitions to dispatch hordes of ill-tempered robots. The game's
protagonist is an affable hillbilly named P. Walter Tugnutt who has been
hoarding weapons, ammunition, and alcohol in preparation for an
eventual robot apocalypse. Fallen foes relinquish nuts that can be used
to upgrade weapons and equipment, special outfits can increase
attributes, and each kill earns gamers XP that can then be used for
RPG-style leveling.
