FireFly Studios takes its 2002 real-time strategy title and ramps up the intensity several notches in Stronghold: Crusader Extreme. The original game -- itself an expansion of the Eurocentric Stronghold -- was a melding of city-building and medieval warfare set during the Crusades. Players could choose to control either the entrenched Muslims or the invading Christians as they battled for farmland and resources. The "Extreme" version features 20 new missions, a new tactical aid bar, and massive battles where more than 10,000 units battle on screen at the same time. For those unfamiliar with the series, a copy of Stronghold: Crusader is built right in, and it comes with a number of extra features that were previously only available in limited edition releases.Features:

- Play through 20 new missions as Richard the Lionheart or Saladin
- Design custom scenarios, erect a stronghold, and create a squad from more than 25 units
